Compact Fluorescent Bulbs - are they worth it?
MSNBC reports that environmentalists are beginning to have doubts about the wide ranging use of compact fluorescent bulbs. LED technology is going to be the answer here. An LED light "bulb" would last about 275 years. Maybe that's why there aren't more available - no turn over. Your grandchildren could inherit them from you. Mind you - LEDs are made with arsenic, so no joy in the landfill either, but you don't need to recycle 'em as often.
